About Me
My name is Darrion J Stigger. I am a Junior of the University of Memphis and I am aspiring to be an educator. I have taught through a program called Junior Achievement, assisted with TCAP and volunteered several days to observe classes being taught at Lakeland Elementary School in Lakeland, TN. I have also made classroom observations at Arlington Elementary in a third Grade classroom. I really enjoyed teaching grades third and fourth. I had a opportunity to experience second grade teaching environment and lessons however I believe I will be more beneficial with third through fifth grades.
My degree that I am currently seeking is a 4+1 Masters of Education. This will allow me to teach private or charter schools K thru sixth in general education. I will also have a minor in Accounting that provides me with a basic understanding of accounting and financial responsibility to educate my students on the importance of knowing how to balance finances. |
My overall goal in education is to influence a child to dream big and go after whatever and be whoever their dreams and desires wants. I want to teach them that education is the best way to improve their chances in reaching their goals that they have set for themselves. I want to be motivational and inspiring educator pushing our kids to do and be better students which will in turn teach them to be better adolescents and citizens.
